Setting Up and Setting Off

March 15, 2007

This blog is mainly for myself as I set out on a trip round the world, courtesy of Air NZ.
This is the night before I leave for London, and the last thing on my mind is blog writing, but better to set it up now, than in some cyber cafe in the wilds,
Hong Kong next stop in our DIY itinerary ,that includes a 2 hour helihike on Fox Glacier and an overnight cruise on Doubtful Sound, and that is before I meet my sister again in Whakatane,
Packing calls……………………………….

Hello love, all sounds absolutley fabulous – can understand how you want to pack it all in. Hope the REAL stuff is being written in a private journal. With wait with bated breath for the next instalment. God isnt technology wonderful – great that even in our senior years we can all follow your adventure.

Hi, just spent two days in Keswick with Rob. Went to Blackwell, an Art and Crafts house above Windermere. Full of lovely things, furniture, pottery, stained glass, panelling etc. Incredibly warm and sunny weather, sat by various lakes, still as mill ponds.

    What sights are you seeing?

    Anymore fabulous adventures?

Weather continues to astound with summer like days, everywhere looking greener by the day.

What an amazing journey your on – am sharing all the information with my friends who keep saying there going to do similar things. Feels like you have started a trend over here. Hope you are taking the Arsenicum for the height phobia. You will never be satisfied with Whitby again – will be hard to follow this, perhaps The Camino!!

Keep well, love to you both
